SSC CGL Introduction

After graduation, you have two amazing opportunities to go for SSC. SSC CGL 2018 Exam Date Exam is an examination conducted to recruit staff to various posts in ministries. It is organized by the Staff Selection Commission or SSC to recruit candidates for the Non-Gazetted Posts in various ministries and departments of the Government.

SSC CGL Tier - I (Preliminary) Exam Sections
·         General Intelligence
·         General Awareness
·         Quantitative Aptitude
·         English Comprehension

SSC CGL Tier II (Mains Exam) Exam Sections
SSC CGL Mains Exam is also an MCQ paper that has 4 sections to be completed in 2 hours each.  Details are given below:-
·         Quantitative Aptitude
·         English Language and Comprehension
·         Statistics
·         General Studies

Time allotted and Marks for each section:

·         Total Question -100
·         Total Marks-200
·         Negative Marking -0.5

SSC CGL Tier III exam: Descriptive Paper
Tier III Exam of SSC CGL 2018 is a pen-and-paper based exam. Candidates are supposed to write a letter in English or Hindi.

SSC CGL Tier IV exam: Data Entry Skill Test / Computer Proficiency Test
The exam is divided into two parts:

DEST (Data Entry Speed Test): Candidates are supposed to enter data of 2000 key presses in 15 minutes.

CPT (Computer Proficiency Test): Covers the topics of word processing, spreadsheets, and making slides.
